Counter-terror operation regime introduced in Nalchik district

NALCHIK, March 27 (Itar-Tass) — The counterterrorist operation regime was introduced at about 04:30, Moscow time, in a district of Nalchik on Tuesday because of a shootout at 2, Komsomolskaya Street, the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) operational headquarters in Kabardino-Balkaria told Itar-Tass.

“There is an active mutual exchange of fire there – at 2, Komsomolskaya Street,” an official of the headquarters said. There have been no reports about the shootout details so far.

The counterterrorist operation regime has been introduced in the district of Nalchik within the boundaries of the Kabardinskaya, Ossetian, Shchorsa, the Paris Commune Streets.
