KIEV, March 26 (Itar-Tass) — Naftogaz Ukrainy hopes that Russian gas prices will be reduced in the second quarter, the company’s deputy chairman of the board, Vadim Chuprun, told journalists on Monday.

“I believe that the price will be lower than in the first quarter,” Chuprun said.

In the first quarter the price of Russian gas reaches about 416 U.S. dollars per 1,000 cubic metres.
