Tibilov’s staff claims his leadership in South Ossetian presidential election

Information from election staff practically coincided with Central Elections Commission reports in the November 2011 ballot

TSKHINVALI, March 25 (Itar-Tass) —— Staffs of South Ossetian presidential candidates are counting votes by reports from their observers at polling stations.

The election staff of ex-South Ossetian State Security Committee head Leonid Tibilov claims with the reference to data from 15 polling stations that he is the election leader. The staff told Itar-Tass that South Ossetian Ambassador to Russia Dmitry Medoyev ranked second.

The Medoyev election staff gave similar information. The staff said that Tibilov was the leader in the Java region, while his rating was practically the same as Medoyev’s in the Tskhinvali district.
