MOSCOW, March 22 (Itar-Tass) — Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov has invited his colleagues from the member states of NATO, the CIS, the Collective Security Treaty Organization, from China, India, South Korea and other states to an international conference on ABM treaty that will be held in the Russian capital on May 3 to 4, Serdyukov’s deputy Anatoly Antonov said at a briefing on Thursday.
He said on Tuesday “the defense minister signed personal invitations to the defense ministers from the NATO, CIS and CSTO member countries as well as the defense ministers of China, India, South Korea and other states to take part in that conference”.
“We are sending invitations to the leadership of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization to come here at least for May 3, when the main discussions on missile defense will be held,” Antonov specified.
