Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew in February 2012 in annual calculation by 4.8 percent

MOSCOW, March 22 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew in February 2012 in annual calculation by 4.8 percent, with account of the seasonal factor by 0.5 percent, Russian Minister of Economic Development Elvira Nabiullina told journalists on Thursday.

In January-February 2012, the GDP, according to her data, grew by 4.3 percent in comparison with the same period of 2011. Such a growth, as she said, occurred at the expense of increased investments in the fixed capital stock and very good indices in industrial production.
