MOSCOW, March 21 (Itar-Tass) —— Prime Minister Vladimir Putin chaired a working meeting on the development of the Russian Far East and Eastern Siberia on Wednesday, March 21.
“The need was noted during the meeting for more effective use of available budget funds as well as funds received for development from off-budget sources. Vladimir Putin spoke of the need to use a project-based approach during comprehensive development of these territories,” the prime minister’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, Minister of Regional Development Viktor Basargin, government chief of staff Anton Vaino, lev, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Yuri Trutnev, Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko, and Emergencies Minister Sergei Shoigu attended the meeting.
