Russia hopes to sign readmission documents with UE by yearend – FMS chief

Romodanovsky said the migration processes were very crucial to a visaless dialogue between Russia and the EU

MOSCOW, March 21 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia and the European Union countries by the end of the year will sign all the necessary readmission documents, the chief of the federal migration service, Konstantin Romodanovsky, said on Wednesday. He was answering legislators’ questions in the State Duma.

Romodanovsky said the migration processes were very crucial to a visaless dialogue between Russia and the EU.

“The negotiating process on the readmission track has been practically finalized. Seventeen executive protocols of the twenty four have been signed,” Romodanovsky said, adding that another six documents were ready for signature, and “we are waiting from the government for the last one, with Greece.”
