MOSCOW, March 21 (Itar-Tass) — The Palestinian National Authority (PNA) calls for a UN Security Council resolution, which condemns the Israeli settlement policy, Palestinian Ambassador in Moscow Fayed Mustafa told a press conference here on Wednesday.
“We call for the resumption of Palestinian-Israeli negotiations. But the continuation of the settlement policy undermines these efforts,” the diplomat noted. He noted the position of Palestinians to continue the construction of Israeli settlements on the West Bank. “This restricts the freedom of our citizens for travelling. I hope that the UN Council of Human Rights will have a vote soon over this issue,” he said. Palestine also expects the UN Security Council to approve a resolution, which condemns the Israeli settlement policy, the ambassador underlined.
