MOSCOW, March 21 (Itar-Tass) — An incessant snowfall that continues in Moscow since Tuesday despite spring time has seriously worsened the situation on city roads. At present, the traffic situation in Moscow complicated enough. In the next few hours the situation in the city might become even worse because the snowfall is expected to continue. Many minor traffic jams have already been reported on city roads.
The worst traffic situation is on the inner lane of Moscow Ring Road, in particular, in the area from the Yasenevo residential district as far as Brateyeveo, where traffic speed has been reduced to no more than ten kilometers per hour.
Traffic jams have seriously worsened the situation in Andropov Prospect and Kashirskoye highway in the south of Moscow and also in a number of motorways in the east, north and southeast of the city.
