MOSCOW, March 20 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia will allocate major financing of the national defence to 2020.
“Up to 2020, not below 2.8 percent of the GDP,” Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev said on Tuesday.
“Security of our people, of this country, of our allies requires guaranteed protection,” he told a meeting of the Defence Ministry.
“Our military might, ability to react promptly to threats should be such, that nobody in the world would want to test them,” he said.
