MOSCOW, March 18 (Itar-Tass) —— Opposition leaders Sergei Udaltsov and Boris Nemtsov have been released, the lawyers told Itar-Tass.
“Boris Nemtsov is free. The Moscow Magistrate Court will soon schedule the hearing of his administrative case,” lawyer Vadim Prokhorov said.
In turn, Udaltsov’s lawyer Nikolai Polozov said that the administrative case of his client would be heard on March 19. “I will ask the court tomorrow to change the hearing date due to my busy schedule,” he added.
Both opposition members were charged with a breach of the rules of a meeting, a rally, a demonstration, a march or a picket (Part 2, Article 20.2 of the Russian Code of Administrative Offenses). They were seized in the Sunday action near the Ostankino television center, which protested against the “Protest Anatomy” film of NTV.
