“It was very important for me that the president said that before his term expires he will have another meeting with the council so discuss results of the work on common civil aspects. There will shall be discussing a wide range of various issues,” Fedotov told reporters.
Earlier Fedotov said participants in the council planned to have another meeting with Medvedev in April to discuss the work of the council over four years.
Reporters wanted to learn whether the meeting would discuss the topics of Magnisky and Khodorkovsky.
“Sure,” Fedotov replied.
Speaking about the meeting on Thursday, Fedotov stressed it was devoted exclusively to ecology and added that many members had not attended the meeting and gave their seats to ecologists.
