MOSCOW, March 12 (Itar-Tass) — The justice court of Moscow’s Tverskoy District will consider on March 28 an administrative case of coordinator of the Left Front Sergei Udaltsov, who was detained after the rally For Honest Elections in Novy Arbat, the court’s press secretary Ekaterina Ilyina said on Monday.
“The hearing is due on March 28, at 13:00 Moscow time,” she said.
Sergei Udaltsov is accused of disobeying the police. A maximum punishment for it may be administrative arrest for 15 days. He does not find himself guilty.
Earlier, press service of the Moscow police said that after the rally was over a group of people headed by Sergei Udaltsov tried to make a provocation and to organise a march. The police suppressed their actions in conformity with the legislation.
