RF delivers humanitarian aid to Syria

The planes delivered 130 tents, 200 cloths, 800 canned fish, 900 canned meat, 240 bags of sugar, 99 boxes of dishes

MOSCOW, March 12 (Itar-Tass) — Russia has delivered humanitarian aid to Syria, the Emergency Situations Ministry told Itar-Tass on Monday.

“The Il-76 carrying humanitarian aid made a landing in the airport of Damascus at 2.38 Moscow time. Another plane will arrive in Syria shortly,” an official of the ministry said.

The planes delivered 130 tents, 200 cloths, 800 canned fish, 900 canned meat, 240 bags of sugar, 99 boxes of dishes, 100 portable kitchens and 680 boxes of baby food. “The total weight of humanitarian aid will be of 78.39 tonnes,” the official said.
