Police search for missing nine month old girl in Bryansk

Experienced investigators and criminalists are involved in the investigation and search

MOSCOW, March 12 (Itar-Tass) — A nine months old girl is missing in Bryansk.

At about 6pm on Sunday, somebody stole a stroller with the baby, which the mother had left unattended outside a pet shop, spokesman of Russia’s Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin said on Monday.

“Experienced investigators and criminalists are involved in the investigation and search,” he said.

Besides, Moscow specialists assist in investigation of a death of a girl, a five year school pupil, who was missing on March 1. Experienced criminalists of Russia’s central staff of the Investigative Committee went to the Bryansk region to assist in practical and methods work there. The body of the girl was found on March 7. Divers lifted the body from the Sudost River. There were no traces of violent death, and the girl had a cell phone in her hand. The preliminary version of the girl’s death is drowning.

Forensic medical examination and necessary investigative actions continue.
