Fire in southeast of Moscow localised

Nobody hurt

MOSCOW, March 11 (Itar-Tass) — There has been a fire in a building in Moscow’s southeast overnight that has been localised, the press service of the city’s emergencies department told Itar-Tass on Sunday.

“The fire started in the basement of a sauna at 32/4, Nizhegorodskaya Street. The walls’ finish and furniture were burning at an area of ··50 square metres,” the press service said. It did not confirm that the building where the fire occurred belongs to the Modern Humanitarian Academy.

“The fire has been localised. Nobody was hurt,” an official of the Moscow emergencies department said.

Earlier, a law enforcement source said that an entertainment club is attached to the three-storey administration building where the Academy is situated, but there were no people there.
