Putin says police acted professionally and correctly during March 5 rallies

Putin believes that no one was beaten up and that no special means were used against the rally's participants

MOSCOW, March 7 (Itar-Tass) —— Prime Minister Vladimir Putin believes that police acted correctly and professionally during rallies on March 5.

“Very professionally,” Putin said, replying to the questions from the press on how he assessed police’s reaction.

“No one was beaten up, no special means were used. They [demonstrators] were pushed back after they had exceeded the permitted limit,” Putin said on Wednesday, March 7.
