VIENNA, March 7 (Itar-Tass) — Russia took note of Pyongyang’s recent decision to impose a moratorium on nuclear tests and uranium enrichment at the Yongbyon nuclear facility, Russian ambassador Grigory Berdennikov said.

Speaking at a session of the IAEA Board of Governors on Wednesday, Berdennikov said, “We believe that this decision can create prerequisites for launching a new constructive dialogue within the six-sided talks on the settlement of the nuclear problem on the Korean Peninsula, re-joining the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty and complying with the Safeguards Agreement.”
