MOSCOW, March 7 (Itar-Tass) —— The Moscow Mayor’s Office authorized an opposition rally on Novy Arbat Street on March 10, the Left Front leader Sergei Udaltsov said in his Twitter blog with the reference to a telephone call from the Moscow Mayor’s Office on Wednesday.
The rally will begin at 13:00 Moscow time in the area from the Arbat Gates to Novinsky Boulevard. The opposition claimed for 50,000 participants in the rally.
A member of the organizing committee of the rally Sergei Parkhomenko said earlier that “the heroes of the rally should become observers,” and the action should be devoted “to general political issues and violations during the Russian presidential elections.”
