CHISINAU, March 7 (Itar-Tass) —— The Moldovan parliament set the date for presidential elections on  March 16.

The factions, which are included in the ruling coalition for European integration and the group of Socialists headed by Igor Dodon, voted for this decision on Wednesday. The deputies from the opposition Communist party, who boycotted a parliamentary meeting, find the voting illegitimate and demand to dissolve the parliament and hold early parliamentary elections.
