Krasnodar Territory to introduce a marinas project at MIPIM-2012

The project envisions eleven bays for yachts

KRASNODAR, March 7 (Itar-Tass) — A delegation of the Krasnodar Territory (KT) will introduce one of its projects -- a network of marinas on the Azov and Black Sea coast - at the international exhibition of investment projects concerning real estate and construction (MIPIM-2012) in the French city of Cannes on Wednesday, Yuri Rysin, head of the department of architecure of the Territorial administration, has told Itar-Tass by telephone.

"To the KT, which is washed by two seas -- the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea -- marinas are an essential feature, the sign of a developed health-resort sector, and of a good-level of economic development," Rysin said.

The project envisions eleven bays for yachts. Four of them will be basic marinas with resources for repairs and servicing of yachts, and seven ones will be for the guests. "This is only the first phase," the chief architect of the KT emphasized.

Rysin believes that when the project will undergo development, "shops, hotels, restaurants and many other facilities will begin to emerge around the marinas".

The project is very expensive and it will not materialize just overnight. "Its implementation will be possibly started in the coming two years. Investors' interest in it at MIPIM is quite evident," PT administration officials maintain.

In Cannes, the Krasnodar Territory will present 1,800 investment projects all in all, with the network of marinas being the most interesting among them.
