MAKHACHKALA, March 6 (Itar-Tass) —— A district police officer was killed in Kaspiysk, Dagestan, on Tuesday. A civilian was injured, a representative of the Dagestani office of the Russian Investigative Committee told Itar-Tass.
“Two men entered a police post on Sovetskaya Street at about 4:30 p.m. Moscow time. They opened automatic gunfire at the district police officer and injured a civilian who heard the gunfire and ran into the room,” he said.
The assailants escaped by car. Forensic experts and detectives are working on the crime scene. The manhunt began.
