MOSCOW, March 6 (Itar-Tass) —— Moscow cannot agree with the OSCE and PACE opinions of the Russian presidential election, but it will attentively analyze their remarks, Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said on Tuesday.
“All the international monitoring missions do not doubt the legitimacy of the election and its compliance with the recognized election standards,” the diplomat said. “This idea was expressed particularly strongly in the opinions of the CIS and SCO missions and a large group of independent international observers,” he said.
“The initial report of the OSCE/PACE election monitoring mission is basically balanced, but it also contains some biased and disputable provisions, which we cannot accept. The Russian Central Elections Commission will attentively analyze their remarks and considerations, the same as it did in the case of the final report of the OSCE/OSCE mission on the State Duma election,” he said.
