VILNIUS, March 6 (Itar-Tass) —— Lithuania seeks a good relationship with renovating Russia, Lithuanian Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius told the national radio on Tuesday in commenting on Vladimir Putin’s election victory.
The Russian presidential election of March 4 was held against the backdrop of the intensified civil activity, he said. “I believe we will see a new, changing Russia,” he said.
Neighborliness is a key priority of the Lithuanian foreign policy, Kubilius said. “We have always wanted good relations with Russia. This relationship depends on Russia to a large degree,” he remarked.
