MOSCOW, March 5 (Itar-Tass) — The organizing committee of the protest rallies considered the presidential elections in Russia illegitimate, opposition Left Front leader Sergei Udaltsov said.
A rally, For Fair Elections, will take place on Pushkin Square from 7.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Moscow time and involve at least 10,000 people, Udaltsov said on Monday.
“At least 45 metal detectors have been installed near Tverskaya metro station. Three metal detectors have been put at the intersection of Malaya Dmitrovka Street and of Bolshoi Putinkovsky Pereulok. One metal detector has been placed near the Pushkinsky Cinema and in the intersection of Strastnoi Boulevard and of Naryshkinsky Pereulok,” the interior main department reported.
