Putin scoring less than 50% of votes in Moscow

The turnout in Moscow was 61.71 percent

MOSCOW, March 5 (Itar-Tass) — Russian Prime Minister and candidate for president is scoring 49.96 percent of votes in Moscow, the city election commission said on Monday after counting 12.64 percent of protocols from district election commissions.

Putin is followed by Communist leader Gennady Zyuganov and self-nominee businessman Mikhail Prokhorov, who are winning 18.42 and 18.38 percent respectively.

Leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) Vladimir Zhirinovsky is winning 6.51 percent of the vote, and leaders of the A Just Russia party Sergei Mironov – 4.85 percent.

The turnout in Moscow was 61.71 percent.
