MOSCOW, March 5 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s Central Election Commission announced the candidate standing as of 03:00 a.m. Moscow time, when as many as 80.40 percent of votes were counted:

Vladimir Putin – 64.72 percent;

Gennady Zyuganov – 17.10 percent;

Mikhail Prokhorov – 6.99 percent;

Vladimir Zhirinovsky – 6.37 percent;

Sergei Mironov – 3.74 percent.
