MOSCOW, March 5 (Itar-Tass) — Mikhail Prokhorov hopes Vladimir Putin, who scores according to the preliminary information about 60 percent of the vote, will continue reforming the political and social systems.
“I hope Putin will continue the transformation of Russia, modernisation not of its not only political system, but of the economic one, too – we are extremely short of competition,” he told reporters on Monday.
“If competition does not come into our lives, this country will face very complicated times, especially with the current situation in the world, there nothing can be stabilised,” Prokhorov said. “The only way now is to be developing, to unite efforts of the entire country, to survive in the new world order and to work for the new positions of this country in the world.”
Prokhorov stressed that he is against a revolutionary development.
“I shall be working so that we had evolutionary change of power, that is changing the legislation, so that the society is more liberal,” he added.
