MOSCOW, March 4 (Itar-Tass) —— Warehouses caught fire on Moscow’s Yuzhnoportovaya Street at about 6:00 p.m. local time on Sunday. Some of the burning warehouses’ walls are down, and gas cylinders are exploding inside, a city police source told Itar-Tass. There is no information about possible casualties so far.

“The fire is spreading onto nearby buildings. Three gas cylinder explosions have occurred, and the middle of the building caved in on the area of 300 square meters,” he said.

The thick smoke is spreading into at least two kilometers. It is unknown what is inside the warehouses.
