MOSCOW, March 4 (Itar-Tass) —— Chairman of the Russian Central Elections Commission Vladimir Churov did not conceal his excitement, watching the start of voting in Chukotka right at Sunday midnight.
“I am ready to propose the same system for the presidential elections in France and the United States,” Churov said.
“Many programmers from our country work there, they can help,” Minister of Telecommunications and Mass Communications Igor Shchegolev said.
For the first time in the world history the video monitoring from the web cameras installed at the polling stations makes it possible to watch the voting and the vote count in the real time mode in all Russian regions.
