KIEV, March 2 (Itar-Tass) —— Gazprom has presented a draft agreement to Neftegaz Ukrainy. The document, in particular, envisages a 10% cut of the gas price, Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov said on Friday.
“Gazprom not only promised but already cut the gas price by 10% for particular companies. State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin handed over a draft agreement, which cut the gas price by 10%,” he wrote on the Facebook. “Neftegaz is negotiating the issue with Gazprom.”
Azarov told Naryshkin on February 20 that the gas problem with Russia must be solved soon. He described the gas sphere as highly sensitive and noted that Ukraine was taking energetic efforts to find a mutually beneficial and acceptable solution.
