MOSCOW, March 2 (Itar-Tass) —— The Moscow prosecutor's office has sent a warning to the leaders of the GOLOS association of non-commercial organizations "In Defence of Rights of Voters" against placing presidential election results in the Internet before the end of the vote, spokeswoman for the prosecutor's office Valentina Titova told Itar-Tass.

The GOLOS association placed information in its website that it intended to use SMS notes on March 4 and organize informational coverage of the presidential elections, placing vote results in information-communicational networks, access to which is not limited, Titova said.

The federal law prohibits publishing of results of surveys on the day of vote, including in the Internet.

To prevent violations of the federal legislation, the Meshchansky inter-district prosecutor's office has sent a warning to the association’s leaders, the spokeswoman said.
