MOSCOW, March 1 (Itar-Tass) —— On Friday, March 2, the Moscow Mayor’s Office will consider an application from the opposition to organise a demonstration on March 8th, 9th or 10th, Deputy Mayor Alexander Gorbenko told reporters on Thursday.
“We have an application for the 8, 9 and 10 with different routes, we have offered other variants. Probably, from tomorrow already we shall start considering applications for those dates,” he said stressing the issue requires detailed discussion.
Co-chairman of the People’s Freedom Party Vladimir Ryzhkov, the opposition plans only one event, and the sides need to state a day and location. For example, the opposition is planning demonstrations on March 8, 9 and 10 in Novy Arbat, including a march from Poklonnaya Gora to Novy Arbat.
