MOSCOW, March 1 (Itar-Tass) – Moscow lauds North Korea’s decision to introduce a moratorium on uranium enrichment, tests of nuclear weapons and launches of ballistic long-range missiles, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on Thursday.
“We praise the fact that the DPRK will take certain steps towards denuclearization while the United States seeks to normalize relations between the two countries, including measures to provide humanitarian assistance,” the ministry stressed.
“We laud a decision by the DPRK to introduce a moratorium on tests of nuclear weapons and launches of ballistic long-range missiles, as well as on uranium enrichment, which will be controlled by IAEA inspectors,” the ministry said.
