Six detained in Moscow for unauthorized actions on Pushkin Square

MOSCOW, March 1 (Itar-Tass) —— Police in Moscow detained six people on Wednesday evening for an attempt to organize an unauthorized action on Pushkin Square, a spokesperson for the Moscow department of the Russian Interior Ministry said. They tried to distribute tents to about 150 people who had gathered on the square of which over a hundred were media representatives. Police confiscated 20 tents from the detainees who were taken to a police station. They will be held responsible for their unauthorized actions in compliance with Russian laws.
