MOSCOW, February 29 (Itar-Tass) —— Over 91,000 of the Russian citizens already participated in the early presidential voting, Secretary of the Central Elections Commission Nikolai Konkin told a briefing on Wednesday.
“The early voting will continue for four more days,” he said. “I believe that 90 percent of those participating in early voting will vote.”
Konkin said that the early voting might feature 158,000, which is slightly over 0.1 percent of the national vote.
The early voting is organized for those, who live in distant regions, for reindeer breeders, those working shifts, meteorologists, sailors at sea. Early voting is also organized in some foreign countries, where March 4 is not a day off.
