Medvedev accepts resignation of Primorye governor

Under the same decree Vladimir Miklushevsky was appointed as an acting governor of the Primorsky Territory before a new governor is appointed

GORKI, February 28 (Itar-Tass) —— On Tuesday Russian President Dmitry Medvedev issued a decree to terminate  the powers of Sergei Darkin, governor of the Primorsky Territory,  ahead of time.

The president accepted the resignation of the Primorsky territory's  governor on his own volition.

Under the same decree Vladimir Miklushevsky was appointed as an acting governor of the Primorsky Territory before a new governor will take the post.
