MOSCOW, February 28 (Itar-Tass) —— A Russian emergency airplane with relief supplies for Somali refugees is en route to Kenya, a source in the Ministry of Emergency Situations told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
“On the instructions of the Russian government in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry and federal executive authorities concerned, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations is delivering relief supplies to Somali refugees, which fled to the border regions in Kenya,” the source said.
“The emergency airplane with relief supplies took off at 10:16 Moscow time on Tuesday from the Moscow regional airfield Ramenskoye to the Kenyan capital of Nairobi,” the source said.
