CHEBOKSARY, February 27 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian television matches the level of the country’s development in terms of technology and creativity, President Dmitry Medvedev said.
“I do not think we should criticise television or on the contrary praise it. We have what we have. But we must admit that our television matches the level of our country’s development in terms of technology and creativity,” Medvedev said when replying to questions from students at College No. 5 in Cheboksary on Monday, February 26.
“On the whole, it’s good television,” he added.
Speaking of school television, the president said it should be research television. “All the rest you can find on the Internet,” he said.
Medvedev posed with the students for a photograph and then gave autographs.
