KIEV, February 27 (Itar-Tass) — Naftogaz Ukrainy will pay about 1.3 billion U.S. dollars to Russia’s Gazprom for natural gas, which was supplied in February, an official told Itar-Tass on Monday.
“The company will pay about 1.3 billion dollars,” the Naftogaz Ukrainy official said, adding that the country would consume about 3.2 billion cubic metres of Russian gas in February.
Earlier, Naftogaz Ukrainy paid 808 million U.S. dollars to Gazprom for gas supplies in January.
