MOSCOW. February 27 (Itar-Tass) – The meeting of the Friends of Syria Group in Tunisia will not facilitate the settlement of the situation, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday.
After the talks with Myanmar’s Foreign Minister U Wunna Maung Lwin, Lavrov said, “Till now the status of a document, which was circulated, is not clear.”
“The meeting did not help create conditions, which would convince all Syrians to start a political dialogue. We express regret with this fact,” the Russian minister stressed.
