MOSCOW, February 26 (Itar-Tass) —— About 100 opposition members are reel dancing on Revolution Square in Moscow to bid farewell to ‘political winter’.

Left Front coordinator Sergei Udaltsov leads the reel. The protesters are chanting, “Go Away Winter. Go Away Putin”, although the flash mob organizers have promised neither speeches nor placards.

The city police warned earlier that they would prevent violations of public order in the unauthorized action on Revolution Square.

Two young women were detained for trying to burn impromptu hanging gallows with an incendiary liquid. Police patrols around the square were reinforced.

Udaltsov said that the city authorities had denied approval to the opposition rally and the action on Revolution Square would be held in the form of a flash mob. People will be wearing white ribbons and carrying ‘political winter’ dummies, he said.
