MOSCOW, February 25 (Itar-Tass) — Friday night, police prevented a brawl on Moscow’s downtown Manezhnaya Square located opposite the northern wall of the Kremlin.
At around 21:30, a group of fifteen men, all of them descendants from North Caucasus, started a scuffle on Manezhnaya Square.
“Police squads that arrived at the scene immediately detained three perpetrators of the incident, all of them from the region of Dagestan,” the press service of Moscow Interior Department said. “One of the men had a dagger on him.”
“The police also detained another five men who participated in the scuffle and received bodily damage in the form of walloping,” the source said.
“All the detained men have been taken to a police department where the officials will decide on the methods of bringing them to responsibility,” he said.
