Bank money carriers robbed in central Moscow, two wounded

MOSCOW, February 24 (Itar-Tass) — Money carriers were robbed near a bank office in central Moscow on Friday morning. The robbers wounded two men, Moscow police told Itar-Tass.

The guards were attacked when they came out of the commercial bank. Two attackers fired a pistol, wounding the two men, seized the bags with money and escaped in a foreign-made car. It occurred at Golyanovskaya Street.

The guards with bullet wounds were taken to an intensive therapy ward of Hospital 29 in Moscow.

There is no information so far how much money was seized.
