SAMARA, February 22 (Itar-Tass) —— Four masked criminals committed an armed attack on collectors of a commercial company in Togliatti. A collector of the company was injured, the bandits stole 34 million roubles, a source in regional law enforcement agencies told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
The armed attack was committed on Tuesday afternoon at the trading centre Koltso in Avtostroitelnaya Street. Under the threat of a pistol the gangsters put the handcuffs on the cash collectors. A collector was injured in the leg.
The criminals escaped by a Lada-Priora car and were not detained.
The law enforcement agencies believe that the robbers were aware about the trafficking of a big sum of money and were given a tip-off about it.
