Transaero aviation company announces cooperation with Vnukovo

Vnukovo officials hope that Tranaero's presence will lead to an increase of passengers traveling from Vnukovo

MOSCOW, February 21 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s Transaero aviation company announced its cooperation with Vnukovo airport.

Vnukovo’s Director General Vitaly Vantsev and Transaero’s Head Olga Pleshakova told a news conference on Tuesday that the aviation company would serve five destinations from Vnukovo.

“We shall serve routes to Kiev and Tel Aviv with Boeing-737 and Boeing-767 planes,” Pleshakova said. “Besides, we shall launch flights to the Far East: to Petropavlovsk, Magadan and Blagoveshchensk.”

Bantsev hopes for growth of passengers as Transaero comes to the airport.

“We are getting ready for reaching the number of ten million passengers in 2012,” he said.
