MOSCOW, February 21 (Itar-Tass) —— The police evacuated passengers from the Chkalovskaya metro station on the Lyublinskaya metro line in Moscow because of an abandoned suitcase.
The entrance and intersections with other metro stations were closed, but the metro traffic was not suspended, a duty press officer of the Moscow metro police told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
“The suspicious suitcase was found on the metro platform. The sniffer dog examined the find and showed that the suitcase may contain some explosives.” “The bomb disposal technicians were dispatched to the incident site,” he said.
