MOSCOW, February 20 (Itar-Tass) — Sergei Mironov, the presidential candidate and leader of the Just Russia party, said that he is ready to sign the social contract if it is coordinated with the League of Voters.
Speaking at a meeting at the Emergency Situations Ministry on Monday, Mironov said, “Even in absence of other presidential candidates I’m ready to sign such a document if the text is coordinated with the League of Voters.”
Mironov explained that it was necessary to undertake all possible efforts to make sure that the presidential elections fair and transparent. “I’ll do my best in this aspect. And it is wrong to make any moves and ignore such meetings,” he said.
According to Mironov, if the text of the social contract is coordinated with the League of Voters, he will sign it at any time.
