MOSCOW, February 20 (Itar-Tass) —— Terrorists responsible for a terrorist act, staged in Makhachkala in September 2011 in which two were killed and more than 80 wounded, have been detained, said spokesman for the Russian Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin.
The Investigative Committee department for the North Caucasus Federal District detained two terrorists involved in the organized gang, who staged a blast in Dakhdayev street in Makhachkala last September. They are also blamed for murder of a coroner, Gadzhi Alibegov, and other violent crimes, Markin said.
The two terrorists belong to an extremist group headed by Eldos Zulfugarov, Markin said. Both were put into custody as requested by the investigation, he added. The two terrorists are facing charges of murder, terrorism, deliberate damage to property and illegal weapons possession, Markin said.
