30 evacuated after explosion in residential building in Moscow

“According to the initial reports, there are no casualties,” the police said

MOSCOW, February 19 (Itar-Tass) —— Thirty tenants were evacuated after an explosion in a residential building’s basement in Moscow, the city police told Itar-Tass.

“An explosion occurred in the basement at 2, Julius Fucik Street, and thick smoke started coming out,” it said, adding that reasons for the explosion were unknown so far.

“According to the initial reports, there are no casualties,” the police said.
